Almost a year after joining his organization, Tanaka Shouyou still gets assigned basic duties like standing guard. Don 't get him wrong, it 's not that difficult. All he needs to do is keep watch all night and report anything unusual to his superiors. That gives him plenty of time to think, self-reflect ' that kind of thing. But it 's also unfulfilling.

The reason why he decided to join in the first place was that he believes in their cause. He wants to change the world into a better, safer place. He wants to be part of the resistance. He wants to do something to quell the rage that overcomes him with every new 'incident' he hears about on the radio.

But according to the other members, he is already doing something by being here and protecting one of their many bases. For now, it has to be enough. For the grand cause at the end of it all, he will be patient.
