It 's an irritating kind of pain. Levi is good with pain, generally; he doesn 't think on it often, but he 's probably experienced near enough the whole spectrum, from slaps to broken ribs. He 'd let a titan chew on his thigh, and that was probably was the worst pain he 'd ever felt, ever, but truthfully ' it doesn 't bother him, the way it seems to bother other people. It had been excruciating, and boring, and might have killed a different kind of person in more ways than one, but Levi doesn 't ruminate on pain. It 's very self-indulgent. It 's only physical, after all. You can distance yourself from it. And Levi is very good at distancing himself from things.
