Four weeks later, Desmond Estate '

A knock resonated against the wooden door. Damian growled into his pillows, trying to bury himself deeper.

After a long pause, the knock echoed again.

' 'WHAT! ' he cried out, sitting up grumpily.

The door opened. With a growl, Damian sat on the edge of the bed, hearing heels clicking. He leaned his elbows against his knees as his mother arrived next to him, sighing deeply.

'How are you feeling today, sweetheart? ' Dafni asked, sitting on the edge of his bed.

'Not better than yesterday, mother, ' he mumbled, standing up to stumble aimlessly into the bathroom.
