She turned around and jumped over the bushes. She had only taken two steps, still half hidden when something clicked under her foot.

'YOR! ' Loid shouted, standing up.

The mechanism she hadn 't noticed until too late went off.

In a raging explosion, the entire building shook. The first two floors set off a series of bombs. Flames rose in waves through the windows. Smoke rose.

Almost immediately, the shooting started. Yor jumped out of the way and behind a tree just as Loid jumped on Damian to protect him.

He could only watch with wide eyes as the mansion was eaten by flames. The one place where they believed Anya was held ' and it was
