CHAPTER XLIX: My Name is Anya Forger

Anya 's body throbbed from pain when the nurses dragged her in a room. It was entirely white, so white it smothered her entirely. There was only one bed, also white, and a white door leading to what she assumed were the toilets and shower.

'Don 't touch me!! ' she cried out when a nurse reached for her hospital nightgown.

The older woman was stronger than she seemed because she pulled it off from her back without even blinking at Anya 's protests. She pulled away with a rageful scream but the other nurse held her arm, the grip tight enough that it almost twisted her muscles. She still suffered from her fall and wounds from the fight two days before ' two days, right? Or had it been longer? Less? She couldn 't tell how much time was going by in this godforsaken place.
