It started with a light drumming of her fingers, lacquered nails rattling atop the surface of her desk to a rhythm she didn 't recognize. The habit was one she often indulged in herself so it didn 't actually ring any bells at first. Such a small thing was hardly enough to bring her out of the paperwork coma she had sunk herself in to several hours ago, long before the sun had set, so Sakura continued chipping away at the pile of forms that never seemed to get any smaller. When her mentor first began her training she wished Tsunade had warned her that being a medic-nin involved this much paperwork. She would have run for the hills right then and there.

Half an hour later she realized the tapping fingers were now accompanied by a low humming sound following the same tune ' and that it was her doing the humming. Sakura smiled but could not stop herself from doing either of those things and that was when she realized what was happening.
