Hashirama felt bad for the blatant surprise on his face when the man he had just stumbled across shot him a pinched expression full of deep offense. It wasn 't that he wasn 't willing to fight Izuna, they were both shinobi and he did understand that not everyone shared his dreams for peace, he had been raised like the rest to protect his kin in any way that was necessary. He was just a little startled to break a comfortable pattern, that was all. The last time he fought an Uchiha that wasn 't Madara was probably close to a decade ago. Usually he preferred to avoid their patrols even if he got an exasperated lecture from Tobirama about giving their clan a bad reputation.
