When they first met the world was still a little unsteady. Neither one of them expected to walk out of the pure lands, especially not after having been sent back after previous reanimations. Madara especially found the experience a little jarring; he had more than been reanimated, he had been fully resurrected and then found his death for the second time. It felt as though only moments had passed before he found himself quite alive again, bare feet against warm soil and blinking under the harsh sunlight above him. Others stood in loose groups around the same barren landscape yet none of them seemed to know why they were alive once more.
