Chapter 49 - Chapter Forty Nine
The best part of trekking through big ancient forests with trees the size of skyscrapers? The sheer amount of tripping you can do on the roots.
'Ed! Get your shit together! ' Zoro barks after I slam into his back for the fifth time.
'I 'm not doing it on purpose! ' I snap back.
'Will you two stop bickering? ' Nami groans.
'Easy for you to say, you aren 't walking in front of them! ' Zoro snarls.
This has been the entirety of the past thirty minutes. To be perfectly honest, it lost its charm after the first ten. I 've already tripped over my own feet four times, five rocks, eight roots, one incredibly pissed sky snake, and the fucking
air itself
six times.
'Detective Domino, I 'm starting to suspect you have a very skewed centre of gravity, ' Robin observes.
'It 's not my fault, ' I whine, 'I think nature itself hates me. ' I swear to god I wasn 't this clumsy before I died. Getting shmacked by a car must have knocked something loose.
