The snow crunches under your feet and in the eerie quiet of the forest, the sound is almost deafening. Around you, the evergreen trees are covered in a pearl white coating, at times giving out under the weight of the snow.

'Little miss, we shouldn 't walk much further. These trees are treacherous. '

You smile at Levi over your shoulder. His crimson red cape is a stark contrast to the fair snow.

'I know. Just a bit further. '

Levi 's eyes dart around, on the lookout for any disturbances, but the forest remains calm and lifeless. Most animals are hibernating for the winter and even the few birds still here are merely perching on their trees, watching curiously as the two lonely figures traverse through the untouched snow.

When you find a suitable tree, you take out a small candle. You place it down at the root of it and light it with a match.
