The first thing Haruno Mebuki and Sakura did the following day was to pick Naruto up from the Akimichi household. The boy was ecstatic to see Mebuki, running straight into her arms the moment her blond hair made it into his peripheral. Choji 's mother offered them some tea and Sakura pestered her mother to stay; she couldn 't tell when her next chance to see Choji would be.

Poor boy had been wilting while confined in his house, but at least he had Naruto to keep him company most of the time. Naruto and Sakura felt bad for leaving Choji alone, but they knew that the Nara-Akimichi-Yamanaka families would meet often, so Shika, Choji and Ino would as well.
